Francesco Paolino - Italia
Francesco Paolino è un danzatore e coreografo italiano con base a Rotterdam. Dopo la formazione presso D.A.F. – Dance Arts Faculty di Roma, frequenta il Bachelor of Dance presso Codarts University of the Arts di Rotterdam. Nel suo percorso di interprete prende parte a creazioni di autori e autrici della scena nazionale e internazionale tra cui Wayne McGregor, Johan Inger, Cayetano Soto, Adriano Bolognino, Ethan Colangelo e Simone Repele & Sasha Riva. Attualmente danza con Codarts Dance Company e con la alla Gauthier Dance JUNIORS.
Parallelamente sviluppa il proprio percorso autoriale. Nel 2024 riceve il secondo premio al Premio Roma Danza con il solo I Luoghi dello Spirito, ottenendo l’invito della coreografa Beate Vollack a creare una nuova opera per la serata dedicata ai giovani coreografi dell’Opéra National du Capitole de Toulouse. Da questa collaborazione nasce nel 2025 il duetto Nothing Has Hurt Me More.
La sua più recente creazione, MUGA, è vincitrice del Premio Internazionale Prospettiva Danza Teatro e del SoloDuo Festival e ha ottenuto in entrambe le occasioni anche il premio del pubblico. Il lavoro è inoltre selezionato per la Vetrina della giovane danza d’autore eXtra 2026 e invitato a festival e piattaforme internazionali quali 25o Certamen Internacional Burgos & Nueva York, 31MASDANZA, Platform 14 Berlin e Tilburg in Motion Festival.

Francesco Paolino is an Italian dancer and choreographer based in Rotterdam. After training at D.A.F. – Dance Arts Faculty in Rome, he is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Dance at Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam. As a performer, he has taken part in creations by nationally and internationally renowned choreographers, including Wayne McGregor, Johan Inger, Cayetano Soto, Adriano Bolognino, Ethan Colangelo, and Simone Repele & Sasha Riva. He currently performs with Codarts Dance Company and will join Gauthier Dance JUNIORS from September 2026.
Alongside his work as a performer, he develops his own choreographic practice. In 2024, he received the Second Prize at Premio Roma Danza with the solo I Luoghi dello Spirito, which led to an invitation from choreographer Beate Vollack to create a new work for the Young Choreographers Evening at the Opéra National du Capitole de Toulouse. This collaboration resulted in the duet Nothing Has Hurt Me More in 2025.
His latest creation, MUGA, won both the International Prospettiva Danza Teatro Award and the SoloDuo Festival Award, receiving the Audience Award on both occasions.
