CHI MI HA MESSO LE PAROLE IN BOCCA?
Da piccola mia sorella credeva che il cigno fosse il maschio della papera ed io che la pera fosse una mela col manico. Alcune cose mi hanno detto che non erano vere ma di altre non lo so ancora. Se pianti un albero al contrario i rami diventano radici e le radici diventano rami? Quand’è che si fa una cernita di quello che ci hanno detto da bambini e si decide?
A terra, in fondo a sinistra, un cerchio. Lo compongono diversi oggetti, tra cui un sintetizzatore, una tastiera, un mixer, un computer, una scheda madre, un microfono, molti cavi, un Launchpad, una tazzina in ceramica, un cucchiaino. A destra, a contrappeso del cerchio, una piccola sedia, tre set di tazzine in ceramica, un’asta e il suo microfono.
settembre non arriverà mai si interroga sullo sviluppo del pensiero narrativo durante la crescita, risorsa indispensabile per la costruzione di vocabolari personali e chiavi di lettura del mondo. In particolare, esplora come la trasmissione di racconti all’interno del nucleo famigliare e la manipolazione della verità in questo contesto influenzi la percezione della realtà, le competenze psicosociali e la capacità, da parte di chi li assimila, di generare storie a propria volta.
Chi mi ha messo le parole in bocca? Lo spazio, abitato da due corpi, si trasforma e si mescola gradualmente attraverso parola, suono, danza e azione, i due performer prendono gli aliti delle loro storie vecchie e li centrifugano per farne nuove versioni di canto. L’incontro tra codici diversi rende percepibile quella galassia fatta di brandelli e tempi sovrapposti che sono i luoghi da cui nascono le storie, facendo emergere, di tanto in tanto, le voci singolari di chi ha lasciato lì parti di sé.

WHO PUT WORDS IN MY MOUTH?
When we were little, my sister believed that the swan was the male of the duck, and I thought the pear was an apple with a handle. Some things I was told weren’t true, but others I still don’t know. If you plant a tree upside down, do the branches become roots, and the roots become branches? When do we start sorting through what we were told as children and decide what to keep?
On the ground, at the back left, a circle. It is made up of various objects, including a synthesizer, a keyboard, a mixer, a computer, a motherboard, a microphone, many cables, a Launchpad, a ceramic cup, a teaspoon. On the right, as a counterweight to the circle, a small chair, three sets of ceramic cups, a mic stand and its microphone.
settembre non arriverà mai questions the development of narrative thought during growth, an indispensable resource for building personal vocabularies and keys to reading the world. In particular, it explores how the transmission of stories within the family nucleus, and the manipulation of truth within this context, influence the perception of reality, psychosocial skills, and the capacity, on the part of those who absorb them, to generate stories of their own in turn.
Who put the words in my mouth? The space, inhabited by two bodies, gradually transforms and blends through word, sound, dance and action; the two performers take the breaths of their old stories and spin them to make new versions of song. The encounter between different codes makes perceptible that galaxy made of fragments and overlapping times which are the places from which stories are born, occasionally bringing forth the singular voices of those who left parts of themselves there.
